The problems of existing Pulse wave diagnosis analyzer
[1] Analog pulse wave form analyzer(the problem of H/S)
- It is impossible for them to analyze the pulse wave objectively because of analog design.
- Reproducibility is low because the device of pulse wave detection sensor is inappropriate.
- Sensor should be pressed on the radius blood vessel, but normal pulse wave is hard to detect, because the whole wrist is encircled.
- The control of sensor to the left and right and upward and downward direction is impossible.
- It is impossible to use the instrument without any training.
- It is hard to confirm whether the pulse wave detection sensor is placed right on the radius blood vessel.
[2] Digital pulse wave form analyzer
1) Problems of hardware
- All the functions are designed with digital circuit, but mechanical elements are included in the pulse wave detection method.
- Therefore, the digital pulse wave form analyzer is likely to be out of order. Even though the pulse wave detection sensor directly touches the radius blood vessel, it still can not solve the problems such as gauge adjustment of the measuring parts and the depth of the radius blood vessel, and the accuracy of the position of regions of 6-position method.
- Reproducibility of one-point measuring is excellent, but that of 6-position method is not.
2) Problems of software :
- one-point measuring is more or less objectified, but the analysis of 6-position method should be interpreted as a subjective result.
- The figures are not official clinical standards, but the pulse wave is interpreted, based on the data of foreign countries.
- It is not sufficient as practical clinical data.
